Islander Virtual Assistant is a Virtual Assistant (VA) service that will collaborate with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals. 
I provide specialized Web-support and documentation services that save you time and money, allowing you to concentrate on other activities like growing your business or just enjoying more free time.

DOCUMENTATION SERVICES (WRITING, DOCUMENT DESIGN & LAYOUT, EDITING, AND PROOFREADING) -- Whether you need editorial support and proofreading for a book manuscript, advertising copy for brochures and direct-mail pieces, business cards, product data sheets, or technical reports and user manuals, I guarantee that your print and online documents will have a consistent look-and-feel that will enhance your business. I also provide professional design & layout, writing, and editorial support services for jobseekers' resumes, CVs, and cover letters.


WEB CONTENT SERVICES -- If you need new Web content or the content of your current website, blog, or social media pages needs to be redesigned, updated, or managed on a regular basis, Islander Virtual Assistant can help. I provide site-content development and ongoing maintenance & management services for all your Web-based projects. These services include keyword research, website & blogsite monitoring and analysis, and specialized copy writing & web content development.

 

Simple Website Design & Setup -- Need a new website or blogsite in a hurry that you can easily expand and maintain yourself? I can design and build a basic "bare-bones" site using Wordpress, Joomla, or GoDaddy in a few hours, which I will then turn over to you with a set of simple written instructions for operating, maintaining, and updating the site and its contents.

PLEASE NOTE: The end product of this service is intended to be a "starter package" and will employ only those templates or themes provided by the Wordpress, Joomla, or GoDaddy dashboards. I do NOT do complex "custom" site design.  


RESEARCH SERVICES -- If you need anything from a trade study or target-market survey to a short-and-simple subject-matter report, I will do the online and/or library legwork and provide you with professional-looking digital documentation of the results in any format you specify.

 

OTHER SERVICES


DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY -- As a photographer with more than 30 years of experience, I specialize in scenic images and nature photography. I have a large gallery of images that can be customized for use on your website, blog pages, or any digital documentation. I also provide photography support services for local (Hawaii only, sorry) real estate agents and companies.

DIGITAL IMAGERY PROCESSING & EDITING -- I can create finished digital images from your CAMERA RAW-format files using Photoshop. I can also scan and retouch your old family photos and documents so they can be uploaded to your digital family tree or genealogy website.

Per-Project Service Packages

These service packages have a fixed price and may consist of any combination of services that I offer. The price will be negotiated with the customer BEFORE work begins and will be SIGNIFICANTLY DISCOUNTED from my hourly and monthly rates. Monthly Retainer Service Package

Similar to Per-Project Services Package, but the prices for contracting with me on a month-by-month basis are SIGNIFICANTLY DISCOUNTED from my Per-Project and Hourly rates. Contact me to discuss your project requirements and to receive a quote.


Per-Hour Service Rates

Basic Rate = US$45 per hour [ with 20 percent new-customer discount = $US36 ]
Please Note: My per-project and monthly retainer service packages are SIGNIFICANTLY discounted from my hourly rates.
